About the Author
DEBBIE HEYDRICK is a busy, home-schooling mother of five children. It was through the pain of miscarriage the she and her husband Doug determined to see that others not grieve alone through this painful loss. From that determination came Angels in Heaven Ministries. Debbie has been interviewed by Josh McDowell for his radio program, in 1999 was on Point of View with Marlin Maddoux and also on USA radio News Network. In January 2002, Focus on the family magazine featured an article about Debbie and the ministry. She is also actively involved in church ministry and worship. Debbie, husband Doug ,and their five children live in Texas.

This book belongs in every church library!

What happened to my baby after he/she died? Will I ever see my baby again-and will I recognize him? What happens if I've had an abortion? Does God have a reason for letting my child die? How can I help a friend who's in grief?
These are some of the questions addressed in this thought provoking book. Pastor Jack Hayford approaches the subject in a manner which makes the reader feel he truly empathizes with the situation.
As Pastor Hayford says in his book, "This isn't myth, fable, legend, or a selection of poetic thoughts for the sorrowful. This is truth to set us free. Here we are specifically freed to expect to meet children in heaven, to recognize them and to be with them."
I've had three miscarriages, and wish I'LL HOLD YOU IN HEAVEN had been available for me to read when I was recovering. Not everyone understands what the mother is going through as some offer inane remarks that are not always comforting. In I'LL HOLD YOU IN HEAVEN, Pastor Hayford offers encouragement not only to the mom who miscarried, but also to the parent who lost a baby days or weeks after birth, and to the woman who aborted her baby and later regrets her decision.
If you know someone who recently lost a baby or if you're going through that sorrow yourself, I'LL HOLD YOU IN HEAVEN is a great book to read. It's a book which should be in every church library so it can minister to those hurting. A Remembrance book is also available. I recommend I'LL HOLD YOU IN HEAVEN.

First book to give grieving parents.

Two days after Christmas, in 1994, my baby died. She had not even been born yet; actually her life was only a few weeks old as she had only been conceived the first part of that month. But oh, how I grieved!

Noel was conceived in the midst of a long struggle with infertility. She has been our only *known* conception in all these years of trying to get pregnant, but my doctor and I think that I may have had several other miscarriages too early to know that I had even conceived.

I know that my babies aren't here anymore. I will never get to celebrate their births, nor watch them grow up. But where are they now? What happened to them? Were they ever really even "people"? _I'll Hold You in Heaven_ offers great assurance from the Bible that yes, my babies were and are very real. They have souls and are precious in God's sight. I have hope that I will see them again in Heaven some day where I will finally be able to hold my precious children and tell them just how much they have been loved and mourned on this earth.

I am now the director of a large Christian support organization designed to minister to couples hurting from the pain of infertility, pregnancy loss, or early infant death. I have a library of well over 100 excelent books on these issues, but _I'll Hold You in Heaven_ is the first book I try to encourage newly bereaved parents to read. It is small enough not to overwhelm, yet powerful enough to really help a couple begin their greiving and healing process. It possitively deals with several different kinds loss including miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, and early infant death.

The Perfect Book for the Situation

My wife and I have grieved the loss of 4 babies - three by miscarriage and 1, our son, Joseph, who died at 3 days old. So, unfortunately, I am the heart of the target audience for this book :) I can say that no other book on the subject has helped us as much as this little volume. If you are dealing with the grief that comes from losing a baby, this is a wonderful, comforting book that is biblically based and solid.

I'm a children's minister and after reading this book, I decided that my entire ministry team needed to read it. After reading it, we decided that we were failing our kids with hit-or-miss teaching techniques, simply out of ignorance. Excellent and accurate synopsis

One of several books written on the F-101 in the mid-1980s, Bert Kinsey's Detail & Scale volume stands as one of the two best references available on the Voodoo, the other being the Squadron volume by Drendel and Stevens. The two books are complementary, with Kinsey's volume providing excellent photo coverage of the F-101. Most of the emphasis is on the F-101B since this was the only version in service when the bulk of research and photography for this book would have been conducted. However, the other versions are well-covered, including the poorly-documented reconnaissance conversions for the ANG, the RF-101B and RF-101G/H. The book is particularly notable for two photographs, one of an F-101A with the rarely seen (and still largely classified in the 1980s) Model 96 weapons/fuel pod and a second photo illustrating one of the very early concepts for what would in time become the F-101B.

The only deficiency that I have noted in this book is that a number of the panel lines and other details in the 1/72 drawings for the F-101B do not correspond well with those of the actual aircraft in some cases. The drawings remain extremely useful for both scale modelers and those involved in aircraft conservation, but must be checked closely for any critical work such as accurately locating unit markings and reconciling the drawings with detail photographs. Also, although the book contains photographs (including the cover photo), there is no mention of the early J57-P-53 engine that equipped early per-production models of the F-101B while development was completed of the production-standard "Dash-55" engines.

Overall, Kinsey's book has stood the test of time extremely well and still represents a very valuable resource on the F-101. Even at the high prices for good copies of this book that this reviewer has noted in recent years, for the serious aficionado of the Voodoo, Kinsey's book is worth every penny.

Excellent reference book for the F-101! Includes color photos and scale drawings. A must for any modeler building an F-101. This book is getting harder to find due to the fact that it has been out of print since the 1980's.

This is an excellent resource for newbies AND veterans.

Just don't look at the cover (the cheeziest cover I think I've ever seen on a book; I literally had to tear mine off to avoid laughing or having any of its "uncoolness" rub off on me).
Anyway, I own a pretty sucessful bar in Santa Barbara California (Indochine on State Street) and bought this book when I was reading up in anticipation of starting a new restaurant (w/ a bar in it).
While the book assumes the reader knows little or nothing about the business, it has a wealth of information for readers of all levels of experience. I was apprised/reminded of numerous aspects of the biz that caused me to tweak my own bar (to largely sucessful result). Quite simply, this book made/saved me significant money.
I highly recommend.

Is your child afraid of the dark?

My child would wake up scared at night and say there was someone in his room. I explained there was nothing in the room and that it was just his imagination. After reading Spiritual Protection For Your Children, I realized that my child could really be seeing something. Satan is attacking our children and it is very real. This book gave me the tools to use during our spiritual battles. My son sleeps through the night now with no problem. This is a must read book for every Christian parent. The spiritual world is real and we need to have the right weapons and teach our children.

Great Children's Church tool

I really like this book. It is full of coloring pages with a verse printed on the page. Verses that are easy to use in Children's Church. We bought the book for that reason. Pictures are a little more detailed that just simple big figures, so it appeals to 6 year olds and above. More detail than previous coloring pages. I would love to see a coloring book that would have some of the coloring pages be Bible verses in bubble words for them to color too. Just for better retendion. I have different children read the verse as they are coloring. With all the new technology where churches are putting the words to songs and Bible text on a screen behind the pastor I am fearful that we are not getting to know our Bible nor our we memorizing like we used to. We know the end of the story and right before the end things will get very rough for Chirstians. Someday we may not be allowed to have Bibles or maybe our children will not. Let's always keep in mind that the precious little lambs we are teaching may need to be stronger Christians that we have had to be. SO LET'S DO ALL WE CAN TO "HIDE THE WORD' IN THEIR LITTLE HEARTS!
