Hace unos anos atras lei el libro y me gusto mucho. Recientemente decidi volver a emprender este viaje de 40 dias pero enfocarme exclusivamente en los pasajes de las escrituras. Ha sido emocionante descubrir directamente desde las Escrituras lo que Dios tenia para decirme personalmente. Si nunca antes has leido el libro, yo te lo recomiendo. Pero definitivamente el devocional con los pasajes de las escrituras para cada dia es un recurso para tener en cuenta... en especial si te cuesta un poco la lectura.

En tan solo 40 dias vas a hacer un recorrido en los principales aspectos que todo cristiano debe considerar. No importa si eres nuevo en la fe, o si ya tienes mucho tiempo en el camino, o si todavia no has tomado una decisión definitiva acerca de tu compromiso con Dios; este libro te va a ayudar a enfocarte en lo verdaderamente importante y no detenerte en temas periféricos relacionados con estilos, gustos, formas y tradiciones.

Tengo el libro y el Diario de Una Vida Con Propósito y compré este libro porque es el complemento de ambos, pero la verdad es que está algo confuso pues no especifica donde empieza y donde terminan los versículos diarios.
Yo esperaba que estuviera desglosado en DIA 1, 2, 3...hasta el DIA 40. Pero es solo un montón de versículos.

I have a friend I had wanted to get the journal for, but since I don't speak Spanish myself, I did the best I could. It was not until the item arrived and I flipped through the book that I realized that it was "Daily Inspirations" and not an "Inspirational Diary." But the friend seemed to really it appreciate it anyway!

This is an outstanding book for anyone interested in room acoustics. My motivation as an Audiophile for purchasing this book was to answer the basic question: "Should my next audio investment be in room acoustic treatments, and if so what are the considerations involved?" This book methodically breaks down every aspect of the behavior of sound, and how that behavior affects and is percieved by the listener. Reverberation, reflection, dispersion, diffraction, absorption, spectral analyses, modal analyses, room topology, etc., etc... It's all there. An absolute must have for any Audiophile.

Acoustics. That is what this book is about. Mr. Everest is celebrated by people who know acoustics. You may have to read it more then once, let's face it, you will HAVE to read it more than once. In the time it takes you to completely mess a recording room up acoustically, you could read this book twice and get the room right.

So buy it, read it twice and get the sound you have been thinking was only available to the smart guys.

A quality sound room can be yours, for a song.

this book is an excellent overview and introspection into the world of usable acoustics. it tends to focus on the applicable, everyday world of acoustics instead of the completely theoretical--which was a huge help in my Church production job.
i highly recommend it as a reference text and background book to anyone in music production.
