Great Insights Into the UCC

This is the second time I have bought this book. I gave the first copy to a young person who wanted to know more about the UCC Church history. This is also a required reading book for any of the polity (governance) classes for people preparing for ministry in the UCC. Louis Gunnemann has great insights and extensive knowledge of the UCC and provide many details of how the church came into being in 1957 as a merger of four denominations, and how it now works to keep uniting the member churches of the denomination using a congregational governing mode for the individual church structure.
