Harry R. Jackson, Jr. is senior pastor of Hope Christian Church located in the Washington, D.C. area. The ministry includes a Bible college and an active mission ministry involved in sending worship and teaching teams to various nations. Harvard MBA Bishop Jackson appears weekly on a morning television program and on radio. Bishop Jackson and his wife, Michele, have two daughters and live in the D.C. area.

This is a practical guide for different stages within the marriage phase. Covering topics from your finances, family goals, communication, sexual relationship to rearing children. This books gives a good foundation for singles about to enter marriage and to the newlyweds who are trying to get their marriage on the right course.

Inlaws, Outlaws, and the Functional Family by Harry R. Jacks

Easy and enjoyable read. Very practical. I especially liked the way the book deals with sex. It talks about it in an open and direct way, you don't have to spend hours trying to figure out what he is really saying. The author deals with the practical issues many, if not all families, face. I believe his point in my words is: families have issues, yours is not immune, so when you are ready to face reality, there are things you can do to set things straight - and then he provides the tools.
